People don’t like to mingle with them. Roads seem to be hustled with their beggary as it is the only profession other than dance that they have to embrace at the end.
Doctor Murad Raas, the Provincial Education Minister of Punjab announces a great news to Pakistan’s transgender community about their education. Yes! He has claimed to open separate schools for the transgender in selected cities of Pakistan. For the first initiative, Multan has stepped in to take the matter in the hand. The first school has been built in the particular city. The internet roamed with the pleasing comments as well as the disappointing ones like why they cannot be taught in normal schools with other members of the society; On which Doctor Murad explains that separate schools have been launched as the very first step just to make the community sure that they are no less than anyone else. It is to safeguard the sentiments of the transgender community regarding their life and rights to it. Moreover, Doctor Raas praises Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to be the first government that has thought about the most neglected community of Pakistan and has taken initiative to welfare their education as to certify their proper human rights.
He has also ensured that the students have been provided with everything that anyone could require in the school and that he is satisfied and hopeful that this initiative would bring great job opportunities for the transgender.
